We came up with the idea to give them a selection of posters, made up of all members of Goat Collective's artwork. As there are 8 of us in the collective, we each produced 5 pieces of artwork with no particular theme, meaning that with one of each poster, there would be 40 posters in each pack.
Our intention with this was to have a stall at the fresher's fair to give these posters out. I created a hand painted sign on a piece of wood we sourced in the streets of Hyde Park near our house. The wood was perfect for a sign, and I used type similar to that I designed for the GC logo so that the two relate.
My designs for the posters shown below; (originals and cleaned up for print)
All will be black and white photocopies, and I chose photography, painting, lettering, type and pencil sketches to showcase the kind of design and artwork I want to create.

Rees also put together a film showing the whole process of the project which is a great way to show people what we're all about and how we work as a group of friends doing what we love. We showed this at our stall on a mac, along with small A6 prints of the posters free to take, and a triangle of the poster packs complete with 40 A4 photocopies and one A3 screen print.
